No piracy: all civil or military Commonwealth ships can't be capped or boarded.Ģ. I apply following restrictions to current game:ġ. Main aim of my current game is as quick as possible boarding of the Xenon I capital ship. I have restarted X3:Albion Prelude using Poisoned Paranid start scenario. xsp ships installed), then you can safely skip the PM steps.Below are few tips for this scenario, which can be used by other players.

If you are only editing TShips (and have no. xsp ships, or EMP if you are editing TWareT.

Make sure that your X3Editor profile is set up correctly, including which game you play.ĥ) Open from VFS to get the correct file that the game will use.Ħ) Double-check the path to the file in the X3Editor title bar.Ĩ ) Close the Plugin Manager (to allow it to rebuild its merged files.)ĩ) Start the game and test your changes. Just in case you ever need to revert to previous files.ģ) Open the Plugin Manager (to remove its merged files).Ĥ) Open X3Editor. Close the game, of course.Ģ) Back up your entire X3 folder. You may have to spawn a new ship in an empty sector to get some changes to take effect (although I would expect that recharge rate takes effect immediately).ġ) Close X3Editor and Plugin Manager. Am I changing the correct TShips file? (I noticed that there seemed to be several TShips spread out across the CAT # files and one under the x3 terran conflict/addon/types) Any suggestions would be awesome. After cheating myself a Q into the game and testing it the weapon recharge rate appears to be the same as vanilla. I then started up the game as I normally do using the X-Universe plugin manager (I have several mods but none of them alter ship stats). When I saved my change it prompted me to save the file in CAT13, so I saved and overrode the TShips there.

In the editor I opened from VFS the TShips file and changed the recharge rate of the Q to 1kw/s (just to see if it changed successfully). I'm using the X3 Editor 2 and have been trying to change the weapon recharge rate of the Q. But after some forum searching and trial and error, no matter what I do, any change I make doesn't seem to have an affect on the game.

Hello, I'm a total scrub at modding x3 and modding in general but I've been trying to modify the ship stats in X3 Albion Prelude.
