The announcement trailer features candid shots of the environments players will encounter in The New North, as well as the flora and fauna of the land. But it's The New North that will be the team's goal for now, the island region at the north of Morrowind including Bleakrock Isle and Sheogorad. Glimpses of what would become The New North can be seen in the Morrowind teaser trailer released nine months ago, along with other regions likely planned for later. The Beyond Skyrim: Morrowind team has been teasing the product of its efforts for some time now, but had yet to clamp down on a specific city or region to release like other Beyond Skyrim teams are doing. Starting off 2019 with a bang, Beyond Skyrim is now ready to share the first step into Morrowind - The New North. After the 2017 release of the Bruma mod, part of the Cyrodiil team's grander project, Beyond Skyrim spent 2018 providing a steady stream of updates on in-development mods, from Kvatch to Roscrea to Elsweyr. Beyond Skyrim, the ambitious multi-team modding project for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, had a relatively quiet 2018.
